Struga

Struga sit in Macedonia's First League. The club spent the run-up to that leap climbing one division at a time: the Fourth League in 2015/16, the Third League the year after, the Second League in 2018/19, and then, in 2019/20, a debut in the top flight itself.

The name behind the money is Trim & Lum, a construction and property firm that has backed it since.

Europe came first, though, and briefly. The 2021/22 season sent Struga into the UEFA Conference League for the first time, where Latvia's Liepāja ended the run.

Home games are played at Gradska Plaža, though sources disagree sharply on how many people can actually watch from there, with counts ranging from 500 to 2,000 depending on who is asked. Locally, the fixture that matters most is against Labuništa, a derby confined to Struga itself; nationally, the club lists meetings with Vardar and Shkëndija among its rivalries, matches against clubs from Skopje and Tetovo respectively.
