Club Friendly Women 2026/27

Club Friendly Women is a classification for non-competitive exhibition matches in women’s handball. It describes fixtures played between clubs outside of official league or cup structures. These games are typically organized on an ad-hoc basis by individual clubs or local associations. The primary purposes include pre-season preparation, fundraising, and cultural exchange. Unlike formal tournaments, this activity lacks a central governing body or standardized season structure. There is no single entity that owns the title, nor is there a promotion or relegation system attached to these encounters. The participants vary significantly from one event to another. The current group includes teams from Romania, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Dunărea Brăila Women represent Romania in this mix. Nordstrand IF Women, Utleira Women Nor, and Sola Women are Norwegian entries. Silkeborg-Voel KFUM Women come from Denmark, while H 65 Höör Women are Swedish. Some of these clubs have experience in official European competitions such as the EHF European League or the EHF European Cup. Their presence together here suggests a specific, isolated invitational event. This could be a local Christmas tournament or a pre-season camp. Such a grouping is not a widely indexed, recurring institutional event in international databases. It serves as a generic term for these specific exhibition games rather than a distinct competition with a history of reforms or record holders. The matches rely on the willingness of clubs to arrange friendly ties rather than a rigid competitive framework. This approach allows for flexibility in scheduling and opponent selection without the pressure of formal results.
