Match report
Al-Adalah and Al-Saqer played out a 1:1 draw in the fourth round of the First Division League on Sunday evening. D. Miranda opened the scoring for the hosts before D. Sesugh rescued a point for the visitors, and both sides walked away with a single point each from the contest.
The home side took the lead through a Miranda goal in the thirteenth minute, and it looked like they might hold on until Sesugh equalised shortly after the half-hour mark. To be fair, the visitors had been patient in building their attack, and that patience was rewarded when Sesugh found the net in the twenty-ninth minute. By then, the game had already seen several yellow cards — Al Ibrahim for the hosts in the ninth minute, Avornyo for the visitors just after the quarter-hour mark, and then a pair of bookings for Al Basha and Al Tarif before the break.
The second half brought a flurry of substitutions from both managers. Al-Adalah brought on Al Nattar and Al Muziel together in the sixtieth minute, while Al-Saqer responded with changes for Assehnoun and Al Mousa on the hour. There was a solitary change for Al-Adalah at the seventy-eighth minute before the visitors made three substitutions in quick succession around the eighty-fifth minute — Saeed, Avornyo and Joao Erick all came off, and Sesugh was replaced shortly after.
