Dragunas Klaipeda — Mistra: 32:27, Baltic League

Dragūnas Klaipėda secured a 32:27 victory over Mistra in the Baltic League on September 26, 2026. The home side took control early and maintained their advantage throughout. By then, the result was already clear to anyone watching from the stands.

Both teams entered this fixture with identical records in the league table — zero games, zero points. The standings have not yet caught up with the action. What matters now is that Dragūnas moved ahead while Mistra dropped further behind in the standings.

We had called for a home win before kick-off, and that prediction held up. The hosts showed sharper finishing and better defensive organisation when it counted. And here's the thing — Mistra simply could not match that intensity for ninety minutes.

Mistra's recent form offered little comfort. They had lost 25:29 to Kehra and drawn 27:21 with Tapa in their last two outings. Dragūnas, meanwhile, had won three of their previous four matches, including a 40:28 victory over Alytus.

The five-goal margin puts Dragūnas in a strong position going forward. Mistra must now regroup quickly — they are staring at the drop if results do not improve. The Baltic League has only just begun, but this result already tells a story.
