Essen — N-Lubbecke: 28:32, 2. Bundesliga

N-Lübeckke secured a narrow victory away to Essen with a final score of 32-28 in the 2. Bundesliga on September 27th. The result leaves the visitors two points clear of their hosts after four rounds of matches.

The away side maintained their unbeaten record with this win, while the home team suffered another defeat after three draws in their opening fixtures. Essen's recent form had shown vulnerability, including a heavy 42-26 loss to Elbflorzen earlier this month.

Our prediction of an away victory was correct. N-Lübeckke's consistency in not losing any matches this season proved decisive against a struggling home side.

The visitors had already demonstrated their ability to secure results, with a 29-25 win over TSV Dormagen Bayer in their previous outing. This performance suggested they could compete at this level.

Essen remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just one point from four games. Their only positive result so far was the 34-34 draw against GWD Minden on September 6th.

N-Lübeckke sit four points above the relegation zone after four matches. The gap between them and Essen now extends to one point, though both sides have played the same number of games.
