Loka and RD Ribnica met in the first round of the National League B on 20 September 2026, with the hosts closing out a 31:28 victory at home. The result keeps Loka on top of their group after three fixtures, while Ribnica remain winless with three draws from the same number of games.
The margin tells its own story. Loka scored three more goals than their visitors, and after seeing out the match they extended their unbeaten run to three, though the point difference remains tight at the summit.
Our prediction called for a home win at 56 per cent confidence, and the scoreline confirmed that assessment. Loka had been knocking on the door in their previous outing, and this time they made an improved offer on the table.
The hosts arrived with momentum from a 35:27 win over Ajdovščina on 12 September, following a 29:34 defeat to RK Krka. They had also seen off Jerusalem Ormos 32:25 earlier in the month, building a rhythm that Ribnica could not match.
Ribnica came into the fixture with three draws but no victories, including a 28:29 loss to Gorenje on 16 September. They had dropped points against Slogan 22:38 and Trim Trbovlje 28:34, and now faced a side that held a high line and punished every hesitation.
The table after this round shows Loka leading with four points, while Ribnica sit in tenth place on zero. The gap between them is not yet decisive, but the result suggests one team has found its footing while the other is still searching.
