Športna dvorana Trata

Športna dvorana Trata sits in the Trata neighborhood of Škofja Loka , Slovenia.

Construction began in March 2007 and finished in the spring of 2010. The project originally carried an estimated cost of €1.6 million, but static engineering issues and energy-efficiency upgrades pushed the final spend beyond €5.2 million. Janez Lapajne, dipl. inž. arch., designed the structure, while Roman Šturm managed the build. The venue opened its doors on March 20, 2010.

Inside, the court measures 40 by 20 meters across a net area of 2,400 square metres. For sporting events the capacity is limited to 350 seats. When the floor is cleared for concerts the space accommodates up to 3,000 standing tickets. The building belongs to the Municipality of Škofja Loka and is run by Zavod za Šport Škofja Loka.

Home sides include KK Škofja Loka for basketball, FSK Stripy for futsal, and RD Škofja Loka for handball. The venue also hosts the Black Knight Basketball Camp for youth players aged eight to seventeen. Over the years it has hosted concerts by Siddharta, Mi2 and Zablujena generacija, alongside sports tournaments and local political gatherings.

The official address is Frankovo naselje 51a, though occasional ticketing sources list number 69. The municipal sports center website confirms the former. The building has never carried another name, and no major rebuilds have taken place since the original completion.
