Lovćen defeated Brskovo 43:23 in the opening round of the First League on Sunday afternoon. The match took place on 28 September 2026 at 16:00, with the home side running out comfortable winners. The result leaves Lovćen top of the table with two points from one game.
Brskovo arrive in tenth place with one draw and no wins so far. They were unable to match the pace set by their hosts, who dominated from the opening minutes. The visitors struggled to contain Lovćen's attack throughout the contest.
Lovćen's recent form has been mixed, with results ranging from a 29:22 victory over Rudar to a 31:34 defeat against Sutjeska Nikšić. This win marks a return to winning ways for the Montenegrin side. They have nothing to lose as they look to build momentum early in the season.
Brskovo's previous outings have not gone their way, with defeats against Zabjelo, Morar, Berane, and Rudar. They drew against Sutjeska Nikšić in March but have found little success since. The heavy loss to Lovćen extends their winless run.
With the first round complete, Lovćen sit alone at the summit of the table. Brskovo remain in tenth place, still searching for their first victory of the campaign. The gap between the two sides is already clear after one match.
