Skanderborg AGF — Dinamo București: 25:25, Champions League

Skjernborg AGF and Dinamo București played out a 25:25 draw in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Both sides now sit on identical records with one point from two matches, each having secured one draw and suffered one defeat.

The hosts came into the fixture fourth in the standings while the visitors occupied third place, though the gap between them remains negligible. Skjernborg AGF had beaten Kolding 32:26 on their opening day before falling to Barcelona, whereas Dinamo București started with a win against CSM Constanța before losing to Montpellier.

We had tipped the home side for victory with some confidence, but the match refused to follow that script. Neither team could find a decisive edge, and the result feels like a fair reflection of two evenly matched opponents.

The draw extends Skjernborg AGF's recent run of mixed results, following losses to Barcelona and a narrow win over Norskeland. Dinamo București's form has been similarly unpredictable, with victories against Steaua București and Bău bookended by defeats to Montpellier and Timişoara.

Both teams remain in the hunt for points but have yet to secure a win. The result leaves them level on the table, with the next fixture likely to prove more decisive in shaping their campaigns.
