Fram Women took all three points away from Stjarnan on Thursday night, winning 35-28 in the Olísdeild. The result shifted the table immediately, with the visitors moving into second place on two points while the hosts remained on zero after their opening draw against ÍR Reykjavík.
And here's the thing about this one — we had called for a home loss before kickoff, with 53 per cent confidence. The visitors delivered, and it was no surprise when you looked at their recent record. Fram had beaten Grótta 30-24 just six days earlier, while Stjarnan's draw against ÍR had been closer than their form suggested.
To be fair, the visitors didn't need to chase the game. They started cleanly and never let the hosts get rhythm. Stjarnan had pulled level once early on, but Fram responded and held a high line that kept the visitors pinned back.
