Anilana Lodz defeated Stalchkowo 44-29 in the First League on Saturday afternoon. The visitors took all three points on their opening campaign, while the hosts began their season with a defeat. The match finished with a comfortable margin for the away side.
Stalchkowo sat 10th on the table with zero games played and zero points to show for it. Anilana Lodz moved up to second after their victory, sitting on three points from one match. And here's the thing — the hosts' position meant nothing at all, as this was their first outing of the season.
By then, Anilana Lodz had already proven themselves against Lider Radom, winning 40-33 just a week earlier. They'd lost two of their previous five matches before that result, but this latest victory showed they were finding their rhythm. To be fair, the visitors came in with confidence after their opening win.
The final scoreline reflected a straightforward result. Anilana Lodz extended their winning run to two matches, while Stalchkowo faced the reality of starting their campaign on the wrong foot. Three points now separated the two sides in the standings.
