Dynamo Kursk and Russia forward Olga Frolkina had planned Achilles tendon surgery, unrelated to injury, and will be sidelined for about two months.
Olga Frolkina has undergone planned surgery on her Achilles tendon and will miss around two months, the Russia Forward's club Dynamo Kursk have confirmed.
The operation was not the result of an injury. Frolkina, who plays up front for both Dynamo Kursk and the Russian national side, spoke after the surgery.
"Unfortunately I could not help the team in the fight for the Governor of Kursk Region Cup, but on the plus side I will now come into the season in full readiness," Frolkina said.
