About the player
Cartagena de Indias is the Colombian city where Dilan Andrés Zárate Hidalgo grew up. Born there, he left Expreso Rojo behind in 2017 and crossed to Spain to join Tecnifutbol, before moving to Gimnàstic de Tarragona and then UE Cornellà, where he stayed for three seasons before Girona FC picked him up.
Alongside the club football, he has represented Spain at youth international level, part of the squad that won the 2026 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
In August 2026, Jheta returned to Spanish football on a one-year loan to Cádiz CF, arriving from Inter Milan with an option to buy attached to the deal, as well as a counter-option.
