L. Hofstadter

Leo Hofstadter signed his first professional contract with Slovan Bratislava on 25 August 2026, a two-year deal with an option to extend, capping a rise through the club's academy that culminated in a senior debut the previous November, at the age of 16, in the Slovak Cup.

Born in Bratislava, Hofstadter worked his way through Slovan's youth categories, including the U19 side, before stepping up to the first-team squad. He also featured for Slovan Bratislava B in the Slovak 2. Liga, the club's second-tier reserve side. As an academy graduate promoted from within, his move to the senior squad involved no transfer fee.

The 2026/27 season has brought him appearances across multiple competitions: the Niké Liga, UEFA Champions League qualification and the Slovak Cup, where he scored twice in a match against Trenčianske Stankovce in November 2025. He came on as a substitute in Champions League qualifying against Mjällby and started a UEFA Youth League fixture against PSG's U19 side.

Hofstadter has also represented Slovakia at youth level, appearing for the U16 side before establishing himself with the U17s, for whom he has scored in friendly matches and featured in UEFA European U17 Championship qualifiers.
