Luis Fernando Pavia Mamani

Luis Pavia made his senior debut for Nacional Potosí at just 16, taking the pitch against Jorge Wilstermann on 22 February 2015. More than a decade later, he remains at the same club, having spent his entire professional career there after coming through its youth ranks in Potosí.

That loyalty paid off in 2025, when Pavia was part of the Nacional Potosí squad that beat Bolívar in the final to win the Copa Bolivia, a result that handed the club a place in the 2026 Copa Libertadores. It stands as the clearest team achievement of his career to date.

On the international front, his involvement has stayed at youth level. In April 2019, coach Eduardo Villegas called him up to Bolivia's under-23 squad for a training microcycle in Cochabamba as the team prepared for the Pre-Olympic tournament tied to Tokyo 2020 qualifying. He was not included when Bolivia faced Argentina and Venezuela at under-23 level later that year, and a senior national team call-up has not followed.

Right-footed, Pavia has built his career almost entirely within one club structure. Nacional Potosí's Copa Bolivia triumph in 2025 gave him, and the club, a continental stage to look forward to in 2026.
