Lautaro Leonel Petruchi

Petruchi came through Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, joining the club's youth ranks in 2012 and making his professional debut in October 2019. He spent two spells out on loan before establishing himself: at Deportivo Armenio in early 2022 he conceded just three goals in sixteen matches and stringing together ten consecutive clean sheets on the way to winning the Torneo Clausura. A second loan, at Defensores de Belgrano, followed in January 2023, before he moved to Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza on a free transfer in January 2024.

He quickly became a regular for Gimnasia, making 29 appearances in his first year at the club. In 2025 he stepped into the starting role after César Rigamonti picked up an injury, playing eleven league matches while first choice was unavailable.

Rigamonti had reclaimed the gloves by the time Gimnasia de Mendoza reached the 2025 Primera Nacional final, and it was he who saved two penalties as the club beat Deportivo Madryn 3-0 on penalties to win the title and secure promotion to the Primera División. Petruchi was part of the squad for that campaign and remained with the team into the new top-flight season.
