About the player
Max Scholze made his way up through SG Dynamo Dresden's youth ranks before moving into the FC Bayern München academy in 2019. He broke into senior football with Bayern's reserve side, playing nine matches in the Regionalliga Bayern in the second half of the 2023/24 season. A loan to SC Verl in the 3. Liga followed in January 2025, cut short after six appearances by an ankle injury that forced his recall to Munich.
His move to SSV Ulm 1846 in June 2025 followed. Scholze made 16 appearances in the 3. Liga that season and scored his first goal as a professional, the winner in a 1-0 victory over FC Erzgebirge Aue on the second matchday. He finished with two goals in 15 league outings for Ulm.
Scholze joined Estrela da Amadora on a low-cost deal with shared economic rights, signing until June 2028. In his first months in the Primeira Liga he has already contributed a goal and an assist in six league appearances.
At international level, Scholze has one cap for Germany's under-19 side, earned in a friendly in 2024. He has not featured for the senior national team.
