Rodrigo Tapia

Rodrigo Tapia came through the youth ranks at Independiente before moving into San Lorenzo's academy, and it was with San Lorenzo's reserves that he picked up his first medal, winning the Torneo Reserva in 2015. He was part of the first-team squad that lifted the Supercopa Argentina that same year, though he had not yet broken into the league side. He made his professional debut for San Lorenzo in February 2016, but regular football proved hard to come by at the club, and his career instead took shape through a string of shorter stays.

A loan to Chile's Palestino in 2017 gave him his most settled run of appearances, with 23 league matches and a goal in the cup. From there he moved between Defensa y Justicia, a brief return to San Lorenzo, Banfield and Nueva Chicago, rarely staying more than a season. He found more continuity at Mitre de Santiago del Estero, turning out in the Primera Nacional from late 2020 through 2023 before leaving as a free agent.

In November 2023, Tapia signed for Peru's Atlético Grau on a free transfer ahead of the 2024 season. He became a key player for the club, helping it reach the 2025 Copa Sudamericana. That role was recognised in December 2025, when Grau extended his contract through the 2026 season.
