Thomas Amilivia

Ciudad Evita gave Argentine football Thomas Damián Amilivia. He came up through Sportivo Italiano before Argentinos Juniors signed him in 2016, and he was farmed out on loan three times, first to Deportivo Español, then San Telmo, then All Boys, picking up minutes wherever a club needed a forward more than Argentinos did that season.

The move that finally cut ties with Argentinos came in 2022, when he joined Chilean side Santiago Wanderers on a permanent, free transfer. He was back in Argentina, first with Tristán Suárez, then Alvarado, each spell brief and each arrival, again, free of a transfer fee. Late in 2025 he signed for Club Atlético Güemes ahead of the 2026 campaign, only for that plan to be overtaken almost immediately by a switch to Ecuadorian club Leones del Norte, his current side, once more on a free.

The pattern across nearly a decade is plain enough on its own: a right-footed forward who has rarely stayed put, moving between clubs and even countries without commanding a transfer fee, and building a career less on a single defining spell than on a willingness to keep uprooting and starting again somewhere new.
