CFFA

CFFA grew out of Andoharanofotsy, a district on the edge of Antananarivo, where the Centre de Formation de Football d'Andoharanofotsy was set up in 2016 to bring young players through rather than simply field a first team. The academy work has since produced its own proof: Koloina Razafindranaivo came through the club between 2021 and 2023 before moving on to MC Alger, where he won the Algerian Ligue 1 in 2024 and went on to earn caps for Madagascar.

On the pitch the rise has been quick. CFFA lifted the Coupe de Madagascar in 2021, beating CNAPS Sport 3-1 in the final, a run that sent them into the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary rounds against Interclube. The league title followed in 2022, a 3-0 win over Ajesaia, and they took it again in 2026, this time edging Ajesaia 2-1. A cup final defeat to Elgeco Plus in 2023/24 has kept that rivalry alive alongside the club's long-standing meetings with COSFA.

Henintsoa "Tota" Rakotoarimanana has been central to that climb, first as a player and coach, later as club president; he led the side into the 2021 Confederation Cup qualifiers and was elected president of the CFEM, the body representing Madagascar's elite clubs.

The team plays in orange throughout, a colour close enough to the club's identity that it gave rise to the nickname Les Orange, and local reports have long tied that shirt to good fortune on matchdays. Home games are played at Stade Andoharanofotsy.
