The team reached the top flight once, winning the 2. Bundesliga Nord to earn promotion to the 1. Handball-Bundesliga for the 2014/15 season. It did not last: licensing problems forced a withdrawal in 2016, and the club fell as far as the 3. Liga before working back up to the 2. Bundesliga in 2017.

Susann Müller, once a German international herself, now coaches the side, with Myrthe Schoenaker among the players to have worn the shirt. Derby day in Berlin means Berliner TSC.

Home games are played at the Sporthalle Charlottenburg, known locally as the Sömmeringhalle, in green, white and red. 2,500 is what the hall holds for handball.
