DHB Pokal Women (Germany) 2026/27

DHB-Pokal der Frauen stands as the premier national knockout cup competition for women's handball in Germany. Organised by the Deutscher Handballbund (DHB), the tournament was established in 1975 and serves as the sole official national cup for the sport within the country. It occupies a position below the league structure, specifically the Handball-Bundesliga der Frauen, and succeeded the FDGB-Pokal following reunification.

The format relies on a knockout system that culminates in a 'Final Four' event. This structure replaced two-legged ties in 1994, having previously utilised a four-team round-robin in 1986/87. Qualification is tiered: the previous season's winner and the top three teams from the Bundesliga enter directly in the Round of 16. The remaining 12 Bundesliga teams, alongside the top teams from the 2. Bundesliga and qualifiers from lower leagues, compete in the first round. Winners of that round progress to the Round of 16, followed by quarter-finals, before reaching the final stage.

The Final Four has been held annually in Stuttgart since 2018. The event was previously branded as the 'OLYMP Final Four' between 2017 and 2022 and is currently known as the 'Haushahn Final Four'. For the 2024/25 season, 31 teams participated in the tournament. The competition provides a knockout pathway for lower-league teams to face top-tier opposition and serves as the primary route to European competition for non-champions.

TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen holds the record for success with nine titles. HB Ludwigsburg are the current holders, securing their first title by defeating HSG Blomberg-Lippe in the 2024/25 final. Other notable winners include HC Leipzig with seven titles, TV Lützellinden with five, and SG BBM Bietigheim with three.
