Fyllingen

Framohallen sits in Fyllingsdalen, on the western edge of Bergen, and holds 2,000 for handball. It has been home since Fyllingen Idrettslag put a handball department together in 1969, playing in yellow and blue.

The men's side reached its peak in the 2008/09 season, taking the Eliteserien title, and followed it three years later with the NM Cup, beating Elverum Håndball 22–19 in the final. Two Cup finals had already gone the other way — a heavy 14–25 loss to Sandefjord TIF in 1993 and a 24–33 defeat to Drammen HK in 2007 — and a third-place league finish came in 2004/05. A 2010 split separated that men's elite team from the parent club: it went on as FyllingenBergen, renamed Bergen Håndball in 2021, while Fyllingen Håndball kept its focus on youth handball and the women's side.

Of the players who came through, Harald Reinkind is the name the club points to first. He started out at IL Gneist before moving to Fyllingen.
