The Gradska športska dvorana in Ljubuški holds 4,000 people.
The club began in 1956 as ORK Partizan Ljubuški and took the name Izviđač — the Scouts, or "Skauti" — in 1963.
In 2004–05 the club reached the semi-finals of the EHF Cup Winners' Cup before TUSEM Essen ended the run. Two decades later, in 2024–25, Izviđač got back to that stage of the EHF European Cup, losing to AEK Athens on aggregate, 61–56. A year later they were there again, beaten this time by MOL Tatabánya.
What has carried the club through the lean European nights is its own production line.
