The Kırıkhan Şehir Stadyumu holds 6,500 people. It is also known locally as the Kırıkhan İlçe Stadı, and it is where Kırıkhan Belediyespor, in red shirts and white shorts, plays its home matches.

The municipality's club dates to 1993, and its first season, 1993–94 in the TFF Third League, ended with a 12th-place finish in the third group and relegation. The 2023–24 campaign followed the same shape: 12th in Group 1 of the Third League.

Football has not been where the municipality's sporting reputation was built. Karate athletes competing under the Kırıkhan Belediyespor banner have taken medals at international and national level.

Local confusion has not helped the football side's profile either. Kırıkhanspor, founded in 1938 and dissolved in 2022, shared the district and was often mistaken for the municipal club in local reporting, despite being a separate entity.
