Nachod Women

The regional derby that matters most to TJ Náchod's handball section is against Sokol Opatovice nad Labem; further fixtures against Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí, Sokol Vracov and Chropyně round out a schedule that stays firmly within the 2nd Women's League, Bohemia group 1, well below the country's established powers. Baník Most, Slavia Praha, Karviná and Kynžvart carry the Czech titles between them, and Náchod has never troubled that list.

It is a home shared, in spirit if not in fact, with the wider TJ Náchod organisation, whose name also covers ice hockey through the separately run HC Náchod.

No jersey colours are fixed in anything the club publishes, though Hummel supplies its kit. What Náchod has not produced is a name that travelled beyond the region: no player from the women's side has been capped by the national team or moved on to one of the leading Czech clubs. The section's own founding date has likewise gone unrecorded. What is left is the league itself, group 1 of the second tier, and the small run of regional opponents that Náchod has faced since whatever year it first pulled on a kit to play them.
