Rakosmente

The handball side plays under a name that belongs to the district rather than to itself — Rákosmente — and shares its address on Sport tér with a football club of almost the same title, RKSK. The two run as separate companies.

Blue and white, the colours the club took from the wider sports organisation around it, cover a team that has never lifted a trophy worth recording. What it has instead is a run each season in the Magyar Kupa. The 2024/2025 men's group ended with fourth place, respectable rather than remarkable.

Home games are played at the Riz Levente Sport- és Rendezvényközpont on Pesti út, with room for 1,500 across 300 fixed seats and 1,200 that can be moved to reconfigure the hall for other events.

Even the club's beginnings resist a clean date: one account traces an independent Rákosmente side to 1950, growing out of a predecessor from 1930, though nothing pins that down with certainty. What is clearer is the shape of a modern district club — built more for continuity in the lower divisions than for silverware.
