Struga

Struga sit in the relegation-round mix of the Macedonian Super League. The nearest they have come to silverware was reaching the Macedonian Handball Cup final in the 2022/2023 season, a tie settled on penalties against RK Macedonia Đorče Petrov that they came out of empty-handed.

What the club has produced instead is players. For decades RK Struga has worked as a nursery for the national team, and the name attached to that production line is Jakovče Matlijevski, the long-time coach whose sides sent through generation after generation of handballers. Naumče Mojsovski went on to earn 108 caps for North Macedonia and later returned to the club as its president; Aco Jonovski passed 125 caps. Neither made his name winning trophies at Struga — they made it leaving Struga able to play at that level.

The club was founded in 1949, and home games are played at the Sports Center "Timi", which holds 1,000 people.

There is no dedicated club website; Struga run their public presence through Facebook, which fits a side better known for the players it sends out than for what it has won itself.
