Wyland Women

HC Stammheim, the entity that holds the operation together on paper, was formally established in 2011.

The team trains and plays out of Sporthalle Ebni in Neftenbach.

Handball in this corner of Winterthur runs on local rather than national lines, and Wyland's calendar reflects that: fixtures against SG Arbon/Romanshorn Lakers, HC Flawil, SG Uzwil/Gossau and HC Muolen fill the season more than any push for a Swiss title. The closest thing to a needle match is the Wyland-Derby against Andelfingen's men's side, a fixture that survives the fact that the two clubs are otherwise partners in keeping women's handball alive in the area at all.

Silverware has stayed modest and close to home. It was the club's second team, SG Wyland 2, that broke through in 2026, winning the Regiocup, the regional cup for eastern Switzerland. For now, Wyland's women continue to compete in the lower reaches of the Swiss league system, with staying competitive in that regional group the more pressing concern than any run at higher honours.
