The Hala MOSiR in Ruda Śląska is not a cathedral of sport, but a functional box in the Halemba district. Built in the 1980s, it sits at ul. gen. Józefa Hallera 16b, tucked away from the main thoroughfares. The city has two such halls, and the name ‘MOSiR’ is often applied loosely to either, though the Hallera venue is the one holding the parquet floor and the smaller capacity.
KS Pogoń Ruda Śląska calls this their home court.
It is a multi-purpose space. Handball players share the lines with volleyball teams, and wrestlers train in the corners when the courts are empty. The capacity is modest, so no one sits in the back row.
