What makes the place stand out is how it breathes. The architects did not design a single cavernous arena but three autonomous halls, each with its own entrance and changing rooms. This separation means the roar of a Nationalliga B unihockey match involving the UHC Visper Lions stays contained within its four walls.

The structure owes its shape to a competition won in 2004 by Savioz Fabrizzi Architectes.

Visitors rarely find a dedicated website for the hall; the municipality manages everything under the 'Hochbau, Sport und Regiebetriebe' department.
