Sportzentrum Grien sits on Oberer Aareweg. The complex opened in 1980. It is not a single building but a collection of four natural grass pitches and one artificial surface, all lit for evening use. The main playing area holds 2,900 spectators, though Europlan-Online lists that number as 3,500. Three hundred of those seats are covered, the rest exposed to the sky.

The ground is partially heritage-protected. That status does not stop the Canton of Bern from intervening when necessary; on September 6, 2025, a mobile artificial turf field measuring 40 by 24 meters was inaugurated as part of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Legacy measures. It was funded by the canton and installed quickly.

SV Lyss, founded in 1920, plays its home matches here alongside their reserve teams SV Lyss II and III. The club has used this ground since the complex opened. Between 1994 and 2007 the venue hosted Seeland Cup tournaments. Swiss Cup matches have also been played here, including encounters against Aarau in 1986 and Wettingen in 1988. No attendance record has been documented in available sources.

The facility is owned by the Municipality of Lyss. Major renovations are planned starting in 2027 under the project 'dr Grienpark für aui', which will bring new changing facilities and functional improvements. Twelve teams participate in the competition connected to the redevelopment. The official website for the club is svlyss.ch; facility information is available on tvlyss.ch.
