Olborg and Kolding played out a 1-1 draw in the first division regular season on Sunday. The hosts took the lead through K. Normann in the 45th minute before L. Laursen equalised for the visitors in the 56th.
Olborg came close to extending their advantage early on. T. Augustinus-Jensen picked up a yellow card in the 23rd minute, and the home side pressed forward. Normann timed his run to meet a cross just before the break, slotting home at 45+1.
Kolding responded after the interval. Laursen found space in the penalty area and finished clinically to level matters. The visitors made several changes to maintain momentum, bringing on S. Yateke and I. Tannander in the second half.
The statistics showed Olborg controlled the tempo. They held 70 per cent possession and launched 134 attacks compared to Kolding's 75. The home side registered nine shots, though only two found the target. Kolding were more efficient, hitting the woodwork and forcing six saves from their goalkeeper.
Olborg remain sixth in the table with 11 points from seven games. They have won three, drawn two and lost two so far. Kolding sit ninth with six points, having claimed one victory, three draws and three defeats.
The result extended Olborg's unbeaten run to four matches. They had won three of their previous five games, including victories over Holstebro and Aarhus Fremad. Kolding's recent form has been mixed, with a heavy 8-0 win against Glamsbjerg followed by a 0-1 defeat to Hvidovre.
