Eisbären Berlin — Iserlohn Roosters: 4:0, DEL

Eisbären Berlin defeated Iserlohn Roosters 4:0 in the DEL on Sunday 27 September 2026. The hosts took all three points at home while the visitors left with another setback. By then the pattern was already clear.

Both sides entered the fixture with zero points in the standings. Berlin sat sixth after three games with two victories and a single defeat. Iserlohn languished in 14th place having lost all three of their matches.

The clean-sheet run came to an end for Berlin, who had kept one before this evening. For Iserlohn the losing streak extended to three games, each one adding to their position at the bottom of the table. To be fair, the gap between the two sides showed through on the scoreboard.

Berlin's recent results had been mixed — a 6:5 win over Cologne on 25 September followed a 4:2 victory against Straubing Tigers on 17 September. Iserlohn's last outing was a 2:3 defeat to Augsburg Panthers on 24 September, part of a run that included losses to Bremerhaven and Ingolstadt.

The result leaves Berlin with a chance to build momentum at home. Iserlohn remain winless and face the task of turning things around. The scoreline told the story without needing further elaboration.
