Frankfurt Lowen — Eisbären Berlin, DEL

Eisbären Berlin took the points at Frankfurt Löwen in the DEL on Thursday evening, closing out a 2-0 victory. The visitors moved into fourth place on the table while the hosts dropped to fifth after four matches.

Both sides arrive with identical point tallies and different records. Frankfurt sit on two wins and two defeats, Berlin on three victories and one loss.

The visitors have been finding their rhythm lately. They beat Iserlohn 4-0 on the 27th and followed that with a 6-5 thriller against Cologne.

and here's the thing — we had backed Berlin before kick-off at 48 per cent confidence. The result follows their pattern of grinding out narrow margins when needed.

Frankfurt will look to regroup after that heavy defeat. The gap between fourth and fifth remains tight in this early stage of the campaign.
