Wisła struck first and twice. M. Koscielecki found the net in the sixth minute, then thought he had doubled the lead on ten minutes before the referee called back for a VAR check and cancelled the goal. To be fair, the home side responded quickly. L. Sekulski scored just before half-time, and Lužino carried momentum into the second period.
By then Wisła had pulled level through K. Pomorski on sixty minutes, and just four minutes later R. Zietarski converted a penalty to put the visitors ahead. Lužino refused to lie down. P. Kostuch stepped up at 90+5 and sent the penalty home, but the drama had already been decided.
There was a turning point in the closing stages. O. Kobacki received a red card on seventy-four minutes, and though Lužino got one back, they could not find an equaliser. The away side saw it out despite the late pressure. And here's the thing — Wisła had already held their nerve when it mattered.
