Vimmerby's recent form has been uneven. They lost 3:4 to Nybro on September 1st and 2:9 to the same side on August 27th. A 3:1 win against Västervik IK on August 25th and a 2:1 victory over Oskarshamn on August 12th provided some balance.
Kalmar have also shown inconsistency. A 3:4 defeat to Oskarshamn on September 2nd contrasted with a 6:1 win over Tingsryd on August 26th. Their 2:1 win against Malmö Redhawks and 2:5 loss to Karlskrona round out their recent record.
