Kalmar defeated Visby/Roma 6:2 on Wednesday evening in the Allsvenskan. The match took place at the visitors' home rink on 23 September 2026. Kalmar opened their account early and ended a barren spell with the win.

Both sides sit on zero points after two games each. Visby/Roma occupy 14th place while Kalmar are 10th. The table says little at this stage — the season has barely begun and there is no meaningful gap to measure yet.

Visby/Roma have been on the wrong end of high-scoring affairs. They lost 6:2 to Södertälje on 20 September and 6:3 to Östersund on 18 September. Kalmar fared better in their second game, beating BIK Karlskoga 4:3, before dropping 3:0 to AIK on 21 September.
