Tkachev was sent off in the second period of the Fonbet KHL Championship fixture, with Yevgeni Kochetov and Ivan Fateyev as the referees on the night.
"On the basis of the materials submitted, a decision has been taken to overturn the penalty imposed on Metallurg Forward Vladimir Tkachev under clause 1.40 of article 29 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations (simulation)," the league said on its website.
