Yegor Zamula attributed the short tenure of Russian players in Columbus to the supportive environment created by the club's Russian contingent, which eased his own adjustment.
The 26-year-old CSKA defenceman spent part of last season with the Blue Jackets. He said the club's Russian contingent made his adjustment easy, crediting time spent with Ivan Provorov at the Flyers and crossing paths with Dmitri Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko on the national team, along with help from the club's staff.
