Cherkas: Fedotov Looking Sharp in Spartak Debut
Former SKA coach Sergei Cherkas praised Ivan Fedotov's first three matches for Spartak, noting strong play despite a costly error against his old club SKA.
Andrei Cherkas, the manager of FC Rostov, praised Igor Akinfeev.
"Fedotov played his first three matches for Spartak really well. Yes, he made a mistake on the first goal against SKA, but even so, throughout that whole game against the army side he kept his side in it. Fedotov looks very decent right now. I'll be glad if he regains the form he once had, and stays fit enough to play," Cherkas said.
