Quinn Hughes: Wild delay isn't about joining brothers
Quinn Hughes says the slow pace of his Minnesota extension talks isn't tied to a desire to join brothers Jack and Luke at New Jersey.
Quinn Hughes says the delay over his contract extension with Minnesota has nothing to do with any pull towards New Jersey, where his brothers Jack and Luke Hughes play.
Hughes signed his current deal with the Wild at 7.85 million dollars a season, and it runs out at the end of next season. The Wild became eligible to open extension talks with him on 1 July, but no new contract has been signed yet.
