Former Russia head coach Vladimir Plyushchev has said that forward Nikita Gusev is responsible for his current status as a free agent, attributing the situation to Gusev's refusal to participate in pre-season group activities.
Gusev's contract with Dynamo Moscow expired on 31 May. He is an unrestricted free agent and has missed pre-season.
"If some club needed him, they would have filed for his rights long ago. What is there to discuss? As for the situation he finds himself in, I think he is to blame for it himself.
