Bratash on Admiral's 1:2 loss to Lokomotiv: no criticism of players
Admiral coach Oleg Bratash says his team had chances against Lokomotiv but fell short, confirms Kulbakov is seriously injured and Olson and Grman are fit.
Admiral lost 1:2 at home to Lokomotiv, and head coach Oleg Bratash said afterwards that his side had chances to take points but fell just short.
"We fought today, as usual. We had chances to take points, but it was a little short," Bratash said.
"Kulbakov really is seriously injured," the coach said. Olson and Grman, according to the medical staff, are ready to play again. The other injured players are not.
Bratash was then asked about the run of fixtures against strong sides: Dynamo Moscow, CSKA and now Lokomotiv. The young players have done reasonably well in them, the questioner said, but should the experienced men, foreign players included, be taking the leading roles in such games? Some of them, the question went on, have looked unconvincing.
"We don't divide players into first-team and squad players. The demands are the same for everyone, the task is the same for everyone," Bratash said. "We do watch who copes, who meets the demands and who doesn't. But that is our internal business. If you are expecting criticism of anyone from me, you won't get it."
The reporter suggested that meant not today. "Not at all," Bratash said.
