Dylan Larkin returns to Red Wings training after injury
Detroit forward Dylan Larkin is back at camp after an upper-body injury, months after his June trade request and the loss of the captaincy, and may stay all season.
Dylan Larkin has returned to training with the Detroit Red Wings after missing the start of camp with an upper-body injury.
The forward asked for a trade in June. Detroit could not agree compensation with the clubs interested in him, and the request went nowhere. Larkin has since been stripped of the captaincy. Owner Chris Ilitch has said Larkin may stay with the team for the whole of the coming season.
Larkin, 30, played 74 games last regular season and scored 67 points (34 goals, 33 assists), with a plus-minus of +4.
