Kugryshev Reaches 900 KHL Games for Lada
The 36-year-old forward hit the milestone against Dinamo Minsk, becoming only the ninth player in KHL history to reach 900 games.
Dmitri Kugryshev played his 900th game in the KHL regular season and play-offs combined on Monday, in Lada's fixture against Dinamo Minsk.
The 36-year-old forward becomes the ninth player in league history to reach the mark. Vadim Shipachyov leads the list on 1,142, followed by Ilya Kablukov (1,047), Sergei Plotnikov (1,018), Andrei Stas (1,012), Yevgeni Biryukov (1,001), Grigori Panin (993), Sergei Shirokov (937) and Andrei Sergeyev (909).
Kugryshev has gone through six clubs before Lada: Vityaz, Spartak, Salavat Yulaev, Avangard, CSKA and Sibir. His career total stands at 440 points, 176 goals and 264 assists.
