Neftekhimik lost 0:1 to Amur in the Fonbet KHL, and head coach Igor Grishin put the result down to fatigue from a congested road trip.
The match against Barys, originally set for 25 September, had already been moved to 26 September because of a day of national mourning in Kazakhstan following the deaths of servicemen in the Caspian Sea.
