About the player
Abdoulaye Koné arrived at AC Oulu in July 2026 after a route through Norwegian football's lower divisions. At Florø SK he scored 35 goals in 68 matches spread across the second, third and fourth tiers. He went on to play for Sotra 2, the reserve side of Sotra IL, and later for Førde IL, before a loan spell in 2025 took him to SalPa in the Ykkönen.
The Ugandan forward wore number 32 for AC Oulu and made his mark in the Veikkausliiga in 2026, scoring twice in ten appearances, with goals against IFK Mariehamn and Ilves. In August 2026 he completed a transfer away from AC Oulu, joining Belgian club Westerlo.
His transfers between the Norwegian clubs came without disclosed fees.
