Artem Khmarin

Khmarin's route into the Krasnodar first team ran through the club's own age groups. He came from Armavir and joined the academy, moving up through the U-16, U-17 and U-18 sides between 2022 and 2024, and won the Russian U16 and U17 Youth Championships along the way. Because he had never belonged to anyone else, his step up to the senior squad involved no fee.

He was handed a debut on 15 August 2024, in a Russian Cup tie against Akhmat Grozny. The league followed a year later: his Russian Premier League bow came on 24 August 2025 against Krylia Sovetov Samara.

He has been part of a Krasnodar squad in contention. The club finished runners-up in the Russian Premier League in 2023/24 and again in 2025/26, and reached the Fonbet Cup final in 2025/26, where Spartak Moscow won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

He has been a regular in Russia's youth sides, with 22 caps across four age groups. He played seven times for the U16s in 2023 and scored once, added four U17 appearances the same year, then five for the U18s across 2024 and 2025 and six for the U19s in 2025.
