Bautista Euclides Tomatis

Bautista Euclides Tomatis grew up in the youth ranks of Atlético de Rafaela, where he scored more than 150 goals and won four AFA youth championships. He made his professional debut on 9 October 2021 in a Primera Nacional match against Instituto de Córdoba, a game his side lost 2-1, and signed his first professional contract in March 2023. An ACL injury interrupted his progress and kept him out of action for a stretch of his development.

Tomatis returned to become a regular in Rafaela's attack, and his most remembered contribution came in a relegation playoff against Brown de Adrogué on 2 November 2024. He opened the scoring in the 7th minute, and Atlético held on to win 2-1, a result that kept the club out of the Primera B Metropolitana. Across that 2024 season he made 27 league appearances and scored five goals for the club that had developed him from boyhood.

In February 2025 he moved abroad for the first time, joining Racing Club de Montevideo on loan from Rafaela. He settled quickly into Uruguayan football, making 29 league appearances and scoring four goals in the 2025 season, numbers that suggested the move suited him. The following July, Racing in turn loaned him on to Danubio FC, where he played out the 2026 season.
